Ideas for design, forms and my drawings, fairy tales and paintings come from stays in the forest or in the boat at sea, here where I live. Memories of walking this path out to Skatudden/Lindön and Saltharsfjärden in Norrsundet, with bare feet sit deep. The taste of the faint saltiness from the sea after an early summer dip or the biting cold in the cheeks when skiing out to see a winter storm whipping ice to the mountains by the beach. The trees that have always been there, the owls and the seals that are currently my favorite motifs along with the birch.
