"Åsa Fällgren's craftsmanship is validated with a master's stamp, but it is not with the diploma that her strengths are shown justice. Her absolute merits lie in the genuine passion for the historical context of the material and the objects. With a purposeful persistence, Åsa ceramics not only moves forward in a public commercial tradition , but also adds an educational framework where we as viewers not only become users, we also become educated. Åsa Fällgren is awarded the Ejva Damm scholarship in 2023 for her genuine dedication to the craft tradition and wide dissemination to the user and its often underestimated importance."

I am a master of Ceramic manufacturing techniques such as production turning, development of turned forms, sculpture and printing forms in plaster, practical methods, decorative techniques, turning large pots, design, wood-fired firing techniques and glaze production.
